One of the AMAAZE founders, Dr. Peter Olver, is turning 70 this year and, in celebration, a conference will be held at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, from Wednesday August 3 to Friday August 5, 2022. Topics to be covered include:

Symmetry of differential equations, difference equations, and generalizations;

Invariant theory, differential invariants, and generalizations;

Equivariant moving frames;

Equivalence problems and normal forms;

Invariant geometric flows and integrable systems;

Applications to geometric numerical integration, computer vision, and more.
Pending NSF approval, funding will be available for travel and local expenses for graduate students, postdocs, and early career researchers based in the US.
